Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 5, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Zen of Thinking ("we," "our," or "this website") collects, uses, and discloses information you provide when using our website.
Information Collection
When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information, including but not limited to: your IP address (which is anonymized), device type, browser type, page visits, time spent on pages, and interaction behaviors. We collect this information through cookies and similar technologies, primarily to analyze website usage and improve user experience.
Analytics Tools
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for privacy-friendly usage analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-first and does not use cookies by default nor track user identities; GA4 is configured with IP anonymization (anonymize_ip: true) and used solely for statistics and performance optimization. You may opt out of GA4 data collection by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Information Use
We use the collected information to analyze website usage, improve website content and user experience, evaluate the use of thinking models and tools, and optimize website performance and functionality.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only under the principle of data minimization and require recipients to assume confidentiality and security obligations: (1) with your explicit consent or upon your initiation; (2) with service/technology providers strictly as necessary to deliver functionality; (3) to fulfill lawful requests by regulators, courts, or authorities; (4) to protect the safety, property, and lawful rights of you, us, or the public; (5) in the event of merger, division, reorganization, or asset transfer, the recipient must continue to be bound by this Policy or seek your consent before further processing.
Cookie Usage
We use cookies and similar technologies to ensure essential site functions and improve experience. You can manage or refuse cookies via your browser. Essential cookies maintain sessions, language preferences, and security checks; disabling them may break login, prevent saving preferences, or cause abnormal behaviors. Non-essential (analytics/functional) cookies support anonymized traffic analysis and UX optimization; disabling them does not affect core browsing but reduces personalization and makes analytics less accurate.
Data Security
We protect data with encrypted transport, access control, and least-privilege practices. Data is retained only for the period necessary to fulfill its purpose, following the principle of minimization: site logs and analytics data are kept for up to 26 months in de-identified/aggregated form; contact information (e.g., emails) is deleted or anonymized within 90 days after completion of processing (or retained longer if required by law). Where laws require or to preserve legitimate rights, data may be retained for the period mandated or reasonably necessary.
Your Rights
We do not store identifiable customer account data, so some account-related rights may not apply. Under applicable privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may still request access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and withdrawal of consent for data that relates to you and can identify you (e.g., identifiers from cookies). Please contact us via the Contact page. We will respond within statutory timeframes; if we cannot fulfill a request because we do not hold identifiable data, we will explain why and suggest alternatives (e.g., clearing browser cookies to withdraw consent).
Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on our website and update the "Last Updated" date above.
